Task Of The Month



SWIMMING :

I joined the NGV club in kormangala which had a decent pool of 6 feet depth . This is the famous pool in NGV . I have seriously started liking swimming . And its became my second best sport after badminton . The happiest feeling is in doing the thing you thought cant . When i stated swimming around may , i just had the basics with me .. Freestyle floating was the only thing i knew . But now i can say i can manage swimming in all styles possible . My favorites in this are the freestyle & backstroke and i am comfortable in doing breast and butterfly too .

It was tough initially tough to swim due to my shape . I made up my mind to learn by hook or crook and at the end of two months i have shred around 5 kilos and learned the art of swimming . Doing these days i felt swimming is the best way to stress release , as u have concentrate on all aspects of the body (legs to abdomen hands and the most important breathing ) so no other thing left for ur mind to think about .

Below are the different styles which i have learned in the past days :

1) Freestyle : This is the most common stroke and the easiest of all . Its by default u will learn this stoke .
2) Back Stroke : This i can say as the reverse freestyle . This way u can relax ur body and breath properly .
3) Breast Stroke : This is a stylish one , a bit tough . You need to have proper technique to jump to this style . But once you are done you will ease with it .
4) Butterfly Stroke : This is the most fastest and the most tiresome stroke u can prevail . This needs the perfect combo of strength technique and power . You need to use each part of the body to do this .
